Fighting 4 the Tatas Breast Cancer Inc, an all-volunteer group of mostly breast cancer patients from stage 3b or higher who have been fighting many years in the pursuit of bringing reconnection to this lethal subtype of breast cancer Inflammatory Breast Cancer (IBC) a clinical diagnosis. This type of cancer is commonly misdiagnosed as an infection called mastitis and we want to help change that. It's been a few years since this amazing win, and we are not stopping now. We are proud to continue working on this Resolution in hopes to continue to encourage all Californians to learn about this rare and aggressive type of breast cancer and support all people who are impacted by a diagnosis of inflammatory breast cancer. Thank you again to California Senator Connie Leyva and Assemblymember Eloise Gomez Reyes on approving Resolutions SCR-97 and ACH-94 declaring October 3 Inflammatory Breast Cancer Awareness Day in the state of California.
